Mental Health Awareness Workshops for Schools
Bridge 4 Better, led by community advocate Karen Boulton, is campaigning to deliver interactive Mental Health Awareness Workshops in high schools to strengthen youth wellbeing and prevent harm. This is because students spend more of their day alongside peers than with adults.
The program equips young people not just adults to recognise warning signs, respond safely, and shape a culture where bullying is challenged and help-seeking is normal. With a focus on suicide prevention, depression and anxiety, and the mental health impacts of bullying, these engaging, activity-based sessions aim to build empathy, resilience, and responsibility investing now in mentally healthy young Australians who will become the future workforce, leaders, families, and communities.

Minster For Mental Health
We’re supporting Australians for Mental Health (AFMH) in their call for a dedicated Minister for Mental Health & Wellbeing, so mental wellbeing is built into every government decision. This change would help drive a coordinated, whole-of-government approach that strengthens prevention, accountability, and access to support.
Accessible Beach Hervey Bay
We’re supporting the Beach Access Fraser Coast campaign to improve inclusive access to Hervey Bay beaches, so more people can safely enjoy the sand and water, including people with disability, older residents, families with prams, and anyone with limited mobility.
